After winning the Golden Globe for  “Best Performance by an Actress in a Mini-Series or a Motion Picture Made for Television” (I think that title is longer than the miniseries), Kate Winslet did not mention James M. Cain.  Despite the fact that he kinda, you know, wrote Mildred Pierce.  I guess I shouldn’t be too surprised.  Guy Pearce didn’t mention Cain after his Emmy Win, either.
I actually have to watch this thing sometime.  Take a number, Kate.
